Reminder

It is a Class 2 misdemeanor for any person or co-partnership to conduct business under a business name not filed with the Register of Deeds. The statement shall be filed in the office of Register of Deeds in each county where the business is maintained and shall be renewed every fifth year. A statement shall be aimilarly filed upon any change in ownership, operation, or persons interested in the business.
