Execution of Judgment

Once an execution is turned into the Sheriff's Office, the following procedures take place:

The plaintiff fills out questionnaire about the defendant and their properties--include specific property plaintiff or bank account. The plaintiff pays $35 fee plus $12 mileage. The fees are added to defendant's costs.
If you would like vehicles seized . The fee for towing is $70.00 per vehicle. This fee is added to the defendants costs.
A file is created and assigned to one of the civil deputies servers. Research is done on the defendants assets. (vehicles, boats, motorcycles, property, bank accounts).
The Sheriff's Office has sixty days to return the judgment.
The judgment will be returned satisfied, partially satisfied or unsatisfied.
If the judgment is satisfied or partially satisfied a check will be issued usually after 15 days.
